Quite a bit of catching up to do - let's start with my new job

Who knew when I wrote my last post in June 2014 that I would go off and get a new job at a new company the following month?  This somewhat spontaneous decision threw my entire summer off.  I spent two weeks in July in San Francisco for training and general onboarding, I missed my Seedy's 40th birthday as a result (boohoo, seriously) and I feel like I have been on a very steep learning curve.

So instead of trying to recap the Summer of 2014 all at once, I will break it up into manageable pieces.  I definitely want to capture the highlights.

Friday, July 18, 2014 was my last day at Amazon Media Group working on global advertising revenue.  Ten days later on Monday, July 28, 2014, I started my new job at Pinterest leading the east region partnership strategy team.  I just completed my 4th full week there (I took off last week due to our family's annual vacation to Montauk) and I am still in mega-learning mode.  I have really enjoyed the transition into a smaller, earlier-stage company especially having worked at two behemoths for the majority of my career.  I am so excited for what's to come and I look forward to being part of a team building something great!  I am very lucky to be part of this amazing team.
