Parents Day 2014

Parents Day at Buckley Country Day School is a BIG deal. Parents take the day off to spend time with their children and to learn about key school initiatives. It is one of my favorite school events. Here are some pictures from that day (Election Day November 4, 2014). I am so proud of my girls.

Halloween 2014

I love traditions. My friends and I have been getting our kids together to celebrate Halloween since our 5-year-olds were in infant car seats. This year, Lauren and Elizabeth got to wear their costumes several times at Disney's Halloween parade, school festivities, party at North Hills and of course the actual day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Walt Disney World 2014

I won a trip to WDW during Buckley's Fall Fair 2013 and we finally made it over a year later. I absolutely love Disney World. What a magical place!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is 40!

I was thrilled for each of my friends who turned 40 before me and was looking forward to my big day. But truthfully, I had NO idea how I was going to feel, think and react when I turned 40 on October 8, 2014. Though I usually take a day off for my birthday, I ended up going into work (not to mention picking up my own cake!). As it turned out, I felt great and I had a lovely day celebrating with the most important people in my life. Here's a video from that evening.

P.S. My mom forgot my birthday! Of all the ones to forget...! (In her defense she is always running around taking care of the girls, picking them up, dropping them off, taking them here, there, everywhere!) I am so grateful for my mom. I would not have this life without her.
