Lauren's Big Catch

My Lauren never ceases to amaze me. Copying and pasting the email I received from Lauren's 4th grade teacher Mrs. Lynn Knox on 9/30/2016 regarding one of Lauren's essays.

This message is actually for Lauren.  

Lauren, I just finished reading your memoir and I just had to email you.  I was SO impressed with your revision effort; my friend, you deserve a revision award.  You did a terrific job of identifying places in your writing where you should slow down the moment and elaborate.  I was so excited for you when you caught your crab!  Awesome writing effort kiddo!  Can I use parts of your writing for my lesson on Tuesday?  I want your classmates to see all your revision work.

Thanks Mrs. Knox. I really appreciate being the "guinea pig" for the class and it's amazing to be one of the students that every other kid talks about. I enjoy being in your class this year. I hope I learn a lot from your teaching.
